Discover a tapestry of scenic contrasts in the "land between" commonly known
as the New Territories. You'll explore one of Hong Kong's most impressive
monasteries housing the three predominant local religions: Buddhism, Taoism,
Confucianism; ride past banana plantations and stop at the lookout point of
Hong Kong's tallest mountain, Tai Mo Shan. Next, visit the traditional rural
market at Tai Po, and then see the peaceful bird sanctuary of Luk Keng and
its nearby village. The tour takes you through the lush green Plover Cove
Country Park to a village where fish are bred in submerged cages. Finally,
stop to admire impressive Sha Tin Racecourse and then enjoy a Chinese lunch.

Lantau Island with Vegetarian Lunch
Twice the size of Hong Kong Island, Lantau is the largest among the 236
islands of Hong Kong, but with only a small population of about 30,000
people. The island's long, beautiful beaches, dark verdant mountains, old
fishing villages and the solemn Po Lin Monastery are compelling reasons to
visit. Nearby the monastery is the world's largest bronze Buddha statue.

A Tale of Two Cities: Shekou and Guangzhou

Take an exciting hour-long hovercraft ride to Shekou, where city sightseeing
shows the terra-cotta warriors and horses exhibition, featuring displays
from archeological discoveries in Xi'an. Then visit a kindergarten for a
children's song and dance performance (closed Sat, Sun, and school
holidays). Stop at the zoo to see its adorable panda. Drive on to Guangzhou,
through scenic countryside of small villages and farmlands. Upon arrival,
lunch is served at a Chinese restaurant. Then on to sightsee at Six Banyan
Tree Temple and Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Take an express train back to
Hong Kong in the evening.

Ocean Park Tour
Ocean Park, is the largest oceanarium in Asia. Take an 8 minute ride in a
cable car up to the headland where you have a panoramic view of Repulse Bay,
Deep Water Bay, Aberdeen and the South China Sea. Tour the four-level
aquarium, artificial wave tank with sea animals. Enjoy a breathtaking
acrobatic show performed by seals and dolphins. In addition you will have
the opportunity to see a pair of giant pandas, "An An" and "Jia Jia" in
their 2,000 square metres habitat.

Macau Tour
Macau, a Portuguese colony until Dec 1999, some 60 kilometers west of Hong
Kong across the Pearl River estuary, is the oldest European settlement in
the Far East dating back to 1557. Visit the historical ruins of St. Paul
Church, the Museum of Macau, the Temple of A-MA; continue to the world
famous casino in Macau before returning to Hong Kong. Lunch included at a
local restaurant.
